About time
Thought it was about time I paid some attention to this blog, so have given it a bit of a face lift and tidied some of the widgets away for now.

The weekend
The weekend came and went in it's usual blur. The 13th Grade took a bit of a hammering at football on Saturday morning, losing 9-2 to Waimak 'C'. Cameron had a good second half up front through, scored a goal and nearly had two more.
We hosted a mid-winter curry night for few friends on Saturday evening, so most of my Saturday afternoon was spent in the kitchen generating lots of interesting aromas and having the odd Kingfisher to get in an authentic mood.
The Farmer's market was good on Sunday, my favourite German bakery stall surpassing itself with an apricot custard muffin.
A dog walk and a dancing lesson and then the weekend was over.
Looking forward to the next one, which we will be spending in Sydney!

The first post
Just been messing around with a few things like youmeo.com, netvibes, and so on, and I thought "shall I have another attempt to start a blog?". I needed another user name and password to remember you see. Who know if this will lead anywhere or even carry on, I certainly don't. If it's anything like my infrequent childhood attempst to keep a diary don't expect anything more than a couple of lines a day for a few days and then silence for 30 years.
